Mercedes WIS / EPC Question

Where is the definete confirmation subsequently puting in the VIN number for the verbal engine lawmaking that is in the car ?

Example:
input vin lawmaking
car model etc comes up
so and then where is the actual engine code listed in the programme for that motorcar ?

4 establish when checking oil capacity and types likewise that there is just a random list for diffirent models even subsequently inputing VIN number for one specific car. i would capeesh some advice if tin can point me in the correct management. Thanks

Engine code can be seen in EPC - if the VIN is right the 'datacard' symbol on the right lights (bluish car in front end of a checklist) and yous can encounter the engine number (and manual, pick codes etc)

Then y'all utilize WIS to find more info

I get this "No read authorization for this datacard". Its correct VIN. Everything else works and shows. Merely this message when I click on the datacard.

Engine lawmaking can be seen in EPC - if the VIN is correct the 'datacard' symbol on the right lights (blue car in front of a checklist) and you can see the engine number (and manual, option codes etc)

Then you use WIS to detect more info

Fake copy of EPC with the incorrect licence primal settings and then tin can't see data cards...

Well that kinda sux ! i suppose i can just click on the drop down card along from the model later on VIN is inserted and then go it that way. The datacard wont tell capacity of oil tho will it. i will accept to follow it to oil modify and then curlicue thru the list for the engine type?

Simulated copy of EPC with the wrong licence primal settings then can't see data cards...

The data menu volition not tell y'all quantities either. The Datacard is the Build Information, ie what the engine/gearbox serials are. What options your machine came with etc

I think your engine number will also be on the machine'south registration document IIRC

I think your engine number will also exist on the auto's registration certificate IIRC

The V5 for my vehicle does infact evidence the engine number.

When you lot enter the VIN number look at the info/bar underneath where it says MD Mode, 1.Motorcar etc. Adjacent volition be the model (C220CDI) and and then the model code 204.xxx etc. If you lot click on this, it should evidence the engine code
